You don't need to know what to ask for. Describe where the numbers come from and who has to touch them before you see them — that's the whole question, and it's the one we'd ask anyway.

• You write what isn't working.The screens you open, the spreadsheet everything ends up in, whoever does the typing.
• A person reads it and answers — usually within a business day.What we'd connect first, and what it would take, in months and in scope.
• If it's worth a call, we'll say so and find a time.And if it isn't a fit, we'll say that instead. It's faster for both of us.

Nothing gets sent afterward unless you ask for it. There is no sequence.

Messy data is the starting condition, not something to fix before talking. If it were already clean, you wouldn't need us.
